Both Amazon EC2 and Mailshake are cloud-based services that can be accessed over the Internet. It is possible to access the two services separately or together, depending on the needs of the users.

Body

Integration of Amazon EC2 and Mailshake

Amazon EC2 and Mailshake can be integrated to provide greater convenience to users who want to send bulk emails for their business or organization. The two services can be used together to create a personal mail server that is capable of sending bulk emails. The integration of the two services requires users to configure three things:

A Mailshake account with an Amazon SES sending authorization

An EC2 instance running Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

A public key for the instance

Users can purchase space on Amazon EC2 to host their own instance of Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. They will get root access to the instance, allowing them to customize it as they wish. The instance will need an Elastic IP address so that it can be accessed from anywhere in the world. Once users have installed Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, they will have to configure the Elastic IP address for the instance so that it can be accessed from anywhere in the world. Users should also install all security updates before proceeding further to ensure that their instance is secure. In addition, users should create a set of Ansible scripts that will be used to automate installation and configuration processes for their instance. The scripts will be stored in a GitHub repository and downloaded onto the instance using BitTorrent Sync. Users can then use a user-specific Amazon API key to allow Amazon Web Services to launch their instance. Amazon API keys will be used to retrieve the API access tokens from Amazon API Gateway, which will then be used to configure API calls from Mailshake to Amazon API Gateway. API calls will then be made from Amazon API Gateway to Amazon SES, which will enable Mailshake to send bulk emails through Amazon SES. In addition, API calls will be made from Amazon API Gateway to Amazon CloudWatch, which will be used to monitor Amazon API Gateway and Amazon SES activities. API calls will be made from Amazon API Gateway to Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3), which will enable Mailshake to upload attachments for bulk emails. API calls will also be made from Amazon API Gateway to Amazon Route 53, which will be used as a domain name registrar for the domain names created by Mailshake during installation. API calls will also be used from Amazon API Gateway to Amazon CloudFront as well as Amazon Route 53, which will be used as the domain name registrar for the domain names created by Mailshake during installation. API calls will also be made from Amazon API Gateway to third-party services such as Google Analytics and MochaJS.
