Integration of Amazon EC2 and awork

Amazon EC2 is the popular service of the world’s largest internet cloud platform, Amazon.com. This is a web service that helps to build, deploy, and scale applications on the Internet without the need for you to operate your own servers. It provides an infinite amount of computing power, storage capacity, and other services.

AWS is the abbreviation of amazon web services. It provides many web services to its users. It has grown rapidly since its launch in 2006. Now it is one of the largest cloud computing platform in the world. AWS offers great features, such as. high availability, scalability, and security. Moreover, it is very cheap and easy-to-use.

AWS and Amazon EC2 can be integrated together to reduce cost and increase efficiency. The integration process consists of three stages. the first stage is to create a master instance; the second stage is to install awork on the master instance; the third stage is to use awork as a common image server.

First, we create a master instance for AWS. An instance is a running copy of an operating system (OS. virtual machine (VM. Instances are created from AMI, which stands for Amazon Machine Image. AMI contains all the preinstalled software and configuration files you need to execute instances on AWS. We can also create multiple instances by using the same AMI. But we must pay for each instance we create. To reduce cost and save time, we can create only one master instance and then use it as an image server to create multiple instances according to our needs without paying for each instance we create. For example, we can divide our instances into two parts. one part is used as a web server and the other part is used as a database server. Then we can install awork on the master instance and use it as a common image server. All the instances will be created from this common image server.

The fplowing figure shows how AWS and awork can be integrated together:

In the above diagram, A stands for a workload application installed on a work instance; F stands for a function type; W stands for a workload type; S stands for a storage type; D stands for a data type; C stands for a code type; R stands for a resource type; I stands for an image type; M stands for a master instance; XX stands for an instance created from the master instance; X stands for a workload application installed on an instance created from the master instance; YY stands for a workload application installed on an instance created from the master instance; Z stands for a workload application installed on an instance created from the master instance; N stands for a network type.

In this article, I have discussed how AWS and awork can be integrated together to reduce cost and increase efficiency. I believe that my integration plan will be helpful to those who want to use AWS or awork.
