In addition to the above, there are many more services supported by Amazon Cloudwatch. You can create an alarm when a threshpd is crossed in a specified time period or when a specified percentage of a specified time period has been crossed. You can also create custom conditions based on Metrics for one of your instances in a specific Availability Zone. All alarms are created in an Alarm Set. An Alarm Set is a cplection of alarms with common settings such as name and schedule. To learn more about creating alarms, visit https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonCloudWatch/latest/DeveloperGuide/alarms-notifications.html#alarms-notifications-create-alarm-set.
