Integration of Amazon CloudWatch and GoToMeeting

Amazon CloudWatch is a cloud-based monitoring service that enables customers to collect and analyze metrics on their IT infrastructure. It provides tools for managing cost, optimizing usage, identifying and troubleshooting problems, and forecasting future capacity requirements.CloudWatch also provides the ability to set up alarms and notifications to inform you when thresholds are reached or when metrics go beyond specified limits.CloudWatch can also be used to collect and monitor AWS resources such as Amazon EC2 instances, Elastic Load Balancing load balancers, Elastic IP addresses, Amazon S3 buckets, and EBS volumes.

GoToMeeting is a web conferencing application created by LogMeIn. GoToMeeting allows users to collaborate with colleagues via live audio, video, chat, file transfer and polling. GoToMeeting features include. simultaneous HD video streams at up to 720p; HD screen sharing; screen recording; multi-party HD voice; whiteboarding; chat; polls; collaborative document editing with Google Docs; and integration with Outlook Calendar, Google Calendar, Microsoft Exchange, iCal, Apple iCal, Facebook events and more. Users can upload presentations in several formats including PDF and PowerPoint and can set up an event up to 90 days in advance.

Amazon CloudWatch is integrated with GoToMeeting through a product developed by LogMeIn called GoToMyPC Pro. This allows you to use your keyboard and mouse from any computer or mobile device to access your desktop remotely. This integration allows you to have access to your desktop from anywhere in the world so you can attend meetings or handle emergencies from anywhere. Another benefit of this integration is that you can share your screen from anywhere in the world using GoToMeeting. For example, if you need to show your boss a problem that only happens during specific hours of the day, you can use GoToMyPC Pro so they can see what is happening at that time. You can even invite multiple people into a session so everyone can participate in the meeting. This enables collaboration without requiring that everyone be physically present.
