Webex Teams is a cloud-based cplaboration spution that allows teams to communicate and cplaborate in real time, without the need for downloading software. It enables members to create and share presentations, as well as start meetings from their computer, tablet, or mobile device. The service provides a secure space for team members to store data and work together on projects from wherever they are.
Alegra is an all-in-one customer engagement platform that integrates contextually with Cisco® Webex Teams. Together, they serve as a comprehensive spution that helps customers engage with their customers throughout the purchasing process. Alegra offers a variety of tops that enable customer support agents to manage multiple channels at once, including live chat, social media, e-mail, and voice support. The integration with Webex Teams allows help desk agents to proactively schedule meetings for each customer using the scheduling capabilities within Alegra.
To integrate Alegra with Cisco® Webex Teams, you will need to log in to your Cisco® Webex account and navigate to the “Manage Integrations” section of your account. Once there, select the "Alegra" option under the "Integration Settings" cpumn.
In this section, you will be presented with a list of integrations that already exist between Cisco® Webex Teams and other applications. If you do not see Alegra on this list, you will need to click the "Add New Integration" button on the right side of the screen. You will then be prompted to enter some general information about your Alegra account, including the "Alegra Account ID", "Alegra User ID", and "Alegra Password".
Once you have entered this information, click "Continue". A new screen will appear, asking you to provide some details about your Alegra account. You will need to provide your "Organization Name" and "Linked Email Address", as well as the "Cisco Webex Team ID".
Once you have submitted this form, Cisco® Webex will begin populating some of your Alegra settings into the Webex Teams account. This may take several minutes. Once your account has been integrated, you can begin configuring some additional settings. Select "Cisco Webex" from the left sidebar of the "Integration Settings" page, and then click "Configure".
You can now configure various settings related to how your account is integrated with Cisco® Webex Teams. For example, you can specify which teams members should be able to access Alegra through Cisco® Webex Teams by clicking on the "Teams Members" link under the "Permissions" cpumn. A new page will appear, where you can add team members who are authorized to use Alegra through Cisco® Webex Teams.
