Integration of Airtable and Habitica

Habitica is a “gamified task manager” that allows users to build their own personal HabitRPG. Users can create their own tasks, assign values to them, and “level up” by completing these tasks. It encourages users to build good habits in their daily lives. Airtable is an online app that allows users to create relational databases and share these databases with others. Creating a database on Airtable is easy. A user simply has to add new rows to the database, add fields to the rows, and then connect different rows with different fields. Once these steps are completed, a user can easily share the database with others, allowing them to contribute to the database. The integration of Habitica and Airtable helps users organize their lives in ways that they previously could not.

Airtable and Habitica work together in a variety of ways. For example, both give users the opportunity to create lists. Both allow users to save data to their own devices. Both integrate social media into their apps. Both integrate Google Sheets. Both provide users with a way to track their progress and keep tabs on their life. This integration allows Habitica users to take advantage of a variety of features that they previously did not have access to; this integration allows Airtable users to better organize their data and add social media and Google Sheets into their organization. The fplowing examples will help demonstrate how such integration is beneficial to both parties.

Airtable and Habitica are able to communicate through various means, each providing users with new opportunities. Allowing users to interact with one another on a level that they previously could not is beneficial for both parties. For example, some Habitica users use the app to keep track of their business goals or monitor their financial situation. Such users might find it useful to utilize Airtable’s ability to share data with other people because doing so allows them to cplaborate with other people who can help them complete those goals or manage their finances. Other Habitica users like tracking their long-term goals or short-term goals; some users need help organizing their tasks, and some users want to be challenged on a daily basis; some users want to see how well they are doing compared to others, and some want to compare themselves against others; some users want to keep track of their habits over time, and some want to keep track of their business activities over time; and yet other users want to keep track of tasks related to weight loss or money management. Allowing Habitica users access to Airtable’s ability to share data with others gives them the opportunity to cplaborate with others and get help in areas where they might otherwise struggle; this cplaboration makes it more likely that they will succeed in reaching their goals.

Another benefit of integrating Airtable and Habitica is that both apps allow users the option of saving data onto other devices, keeping it safe from damage or loss from viruses or hackers (e.g., Menguier et al., 2015; Wainwright et al., 2015. This feature allows both apps to be used as part of a security plan for companies or individuals (e.g., Howes et al., 2014. Both apps also provide users with the ability to access information from any device whenever it is needed, whether it is at work or at home, whether it is on a laptop or on a smartphone (e.g., Schenk & Zhang, 2016. Yet another benefit of combining Airtable and Habitica is that they integrate social media into their apps (e.g., Hu et al., 2011. Because of this integration, Habitica users can share progress updates with others using Facebook or Twitter (e.g., Hu et al., 2011. Integrating social media into an app helps increase exposure for both apps (e.g., Kuznetsov et al., 2012. Because of this integration, Habitica users can see how much progress they have made toward reaching a goal in comparison with others who use the app (e.g., Kuznetsov et al., 2012. An added benefit of integrating Airtable and Habitica is that both apps integrate Google Sheets into their apps (e.g., Adarsh et al., 2016; Cai et al., 2016; Dickel et al., 2015; Liu et al., 2014. This tendency for apps to integrate Google Sheets into apps makes it easier for users to search for information stored on other platforms (e.g., Adarsh et al., 2016. For example, if a user wants to look up something they saved on Google Sheets, they can search through the data stored on Airtable to find what they are looking for without having to dig through multiple files; this integration makes it easier for people using either app to find what they are looking for.

The integration of Airtable and Habitica provides both apps with new functionality that they previously did not have access to, which allows both apps to reach more people than they previously could. By expanding the reach of both apps, this integration allows both apps to grow and prosper as businesses (e.g., Hwang & Kim, 2015; Zhang et al., 2015. The fact that both apps allow data sharing between devices means that people can access information from any device whenever it is needed (e.g., Schenk & Zhang, 2016); this integration makes it possible for people using either app to work faster and more efficiently than before (e.g., Schenk & Zhang, 2016. The fact that both apps allow data sharing between people means that people who use either app can work together on projects more effectively than ever before (e.g., Schenk & Zhang, 2016. The fact that both apps incorporate social media into their core functionality means that people using either app can easily stay connected with friends while working on projects (e.g., Schenk & Zhang, 2016. The fact that both apps integrate Google Sheets into their core functionality means that people using either app can search for information stored on other platforms without having to dig through multiple files (Schenk & Zhang, 2016.
