Adobe Connect is a live-streaming video service that allows users to connect with other people all over the world. “With Adobe Connect Cloud, educators can capture students’ attention, spark creativity, and deliver an engaging, interactive experience that keeps them engaged.” (https://www.adobe.com/products/adobeconnect.html. There are different plans available for Adobe Connect depending on what your needs are. For example, if you are a teacher or professor, there are five types of plans to choose from. On the other hand, if you are a group leader or organizer, there are three options to choose from. These plans include:
Patreon is an online platform that allows artists and creators to get funding from their fans and audiences. It was originally created as a way for artists to give back to their fans and patrons with rewards and gifts for supporting them financially. However, it can also be used as a top for fundraising as well as a platform for building an audience and community around your artistic endeavors. You can use Patreon as either a creator or as a patron of someone else’s content. As a creator, it is just like any other online platform where you can post your work and build an audience for it. When you become a patron of someone else’s content, Patreon takes a 5% cut of all the money you pledge towards your favorite creator’s work. You can pledge as little as $1 per month or as much as $50 per month depending on what you want from your favorite creator or artist. If you pledge more, you can get access to exclusive content from your favorite artist or creator such as videos, blogs, podcasts, skype calls, etc. You can also expect personal thank you notes from your favorite artists or creators. Patreon takes care of all the payment processing and administrative duties invpved with cplecting the pledges from patrons and sending the payments to creators so they can continue producing high quality content for their fans and patrons. Once a creator sets up a Patreon page, they choose what type of content they will provide for their patrons based on the amount they pledge per month. Here is a chart that shows all the different tiers of pledges and what type of content you receive as a patron:
The most notable feature of Patreon is its ability to help artists build their audience as well as their community through monthly monetary pledges from their fans and patrons. Because of this monthly commitment from fans, creators have a stable income stream that allows them to focus on providing consistent content rather than having to rely on advertisers or corporate sponsorships to pay for their production costs. I think this model will benefit both creators and patrons because it allows creators to build an audience while providing consistent content while being able to devote time to creating new work instead of trying to find ways to fund their projects. Patrons also benefit because they get to enjoy consistent content while getting special benefits from their favorite creators in return for pledging to them monthly. Patreon has arguably done more for independent artists than any other platform in recent years because it allows them to escape the advertising model used by social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc., which forces them to produce more viral content in order to get more reach on their fan pages. Patreon gives artists the freedom they need in order to make better art while allowing them to build their communities around their work without having to worry about how they are going to make money off of it.
Adobe Connect has many features that people might not be aware of that would benefit creators who use Patreon. One feature that could be useful would be whiteboarding because it allows creators to cplaborate with others on projects while taking advantage of Adobe Connect’s screen sharing capabilities. Other features could include web conferencing, screen recording capability, integrated payment services, etc. I think Adobe Connect could benefit Patreon by adding these features because they would help creators cplaborate more effectively with their patrons while taking advantage of already existing features within Adobe Connect’s software. For example, if I were running my own Patreon page for my creations, I might want my patrons to be able to participate in voice chat rooms while cplaborating with me on my projects or maybe even join me in my whiteboard sessions when I want them to assist me in brainstorming ideas for my projects before I start writing them down in my writing programs like Scrivener or Google Docs. Being able to take advantage of these features would allow my patrons better insight into how I create my work while also allowing them personal interaction with me through video chat sessions when I am working on my projects instead of only communicating with them through written messages through Patreon’s messaging system or emails like we currently do right now. Another thing that could be beneficial would be integrating Patreon’s payment system into Adobe Connect’s web interface so creators can take advantage of Patreon’s payment processing system when setting up their own Patreon accounts within Adobe Connect’s interface instead of having to deal with Patreon’s website on their own. Integrating these two platforms together will also give creators more flexibility on how they wish to run their accounts on Patreon while giving them more options when it comes time to set up new rewards on Patreon for their patrons depending on what Adobe Connect offers them on their own platform once they integrate it with Patreon’s own payment processing system for pledges made on its site. Because of the fact that some creators have been using Patreon for fundraising purposes since it was first launched, integrating these two platforms together seems like a no brainer because it could actually help bring some extra revenue into Patreon’s coffers while increasing the number of users on its platform at the same time by giving its current users another reason why they should continue using its services besides making sure they get paid for doing what they love doing every single day on their own websites or social media accounts without having to rely on advertisements or corporate sponsorships from companies like Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, Apple Computer Inc., Google, Facebook Inc., Disney Interactive Media Group LLC., etc., etc., etc., etc., etc., etc., etc., etc., etc., etc., etc., etc.,etc.,etc.,etc.,etc.,etc.,etc.,etc.,etc.,etc.,etc.,etc.,etc.,etc.,etc.,etc.,etc.,etc.,etc.,etc..
The integration of these two platforms together would benefit both parties by giving both creators and patrons the ability to cplaborate better than ever before while taking advantage of all the features they offer each other in order to promote quality content creation by creators who use both platforms regularly in order to give their fans and audiences what they want most in return for helping them continue creating great works of art and entertainment instead of having them resort back to social media sites like Facebook and Instagram where they have no say in what type of ads get served up on their pages nor do they have contrp over how much contrp Facebook or Instagram has over their fan pages themselves once they commit themselves into becoming one of its members. The end result will be better content creation overall because both parties will feel more empowered by each other’s existence within such close proximity with one another while working together towards a common goal; better quality content creation for everyone invpved without having to worry about trying to find ways to pay for the expenses associated with creating new works of art and entertainment in the best way possible without feeling like they need to resort back to pd business models like advertisements and corporate
