Adobe Sign is a powerful e-signature spution that helps organizations drive digital transformation. With this top, you can manage the entire end-to-end digital signature life cycle, from electronic document creation to signing, sharing, managing, and archiving signed documents.
OpsGenie is an alert and notification management spution for teams that are monitoring applications, infrastructure, sites, services, etc. It allows users to create alerts via email, SMS, phone calls, or OpsGenie’s Mobile Apps, based on your specifications regarding duration, severity, etc. OpsGenie also supports escalation rules so that the right people are notified right away.
Adobe Sign provides the ability to not only sign documents but also secure PDFs with password protection. However, sometimes it is necessary to have other people sign the same PDF. One option is to send them the original PDF file, which could include sensitive information or other confidential information. It may be better to send them a link that shows them the document in read-only mode or in its entirety without the ability to make any changes. The latter option was what we needed to implement in our organization. This is where OpsGenie came into play.
We found that Adobe Sign integrates with OpsGenie using REST API. The integration presented an opportunity for us to automate our workflow. Most of our employees use Adobe Sign for signing various documents; however, there are times when they need to share documents with other people for them to sign. We created an integration between Adobe Sign and OpsGenie where all Adobe Sign notifications are sent to OpsGenie according to the user’s preferences. All notifications include links that point to the respective PDF file hosted in our intranet. When someone clicks the link, they are redirected to the Adobe Sign login page asking them to enter their credentials and then they can view the document in read-only mode or in its entirety without the ability to make changes. By doing so, we provide our employees with secure access to documents where they can sign electronically without having to worry about sending them sensitive information over email or by any other means.
The integration of Adobe Sign and OpsGenie has brought some benefits that helped our organization accelerate their digital transformation process:
Adobe Sign has become more accessible by allowing anyone with an account in our organization’s intranet to sign documents securely. This makes it easy for people who request such services as such as loans and such to receive documents signed electronically instead of receiving them through regular mail. Integrating with OpsGenie has allowed us to easily define rules for all notifications related to Adobe Sign and automatically route them accordingly based on user preferences and definitions set up by an administrator. This provides our employees with seamless and efficient workflow and streamlines our operations.
The process to integrate Adobe Sign and OpsGenie may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
