Integration of Adobe Sign and ClickMeeting

Adobe Sign

Adobe Sign is a web-based eSigning service by Adobe. It enables users to electronically sign documents, including contracts, agreements, and applications. The service was launched as Adobe EchoSign in September 2008. In August 2011, EchoSign was acquired by Adobe Systems and rebranded to Adobe Sign. It is integrated with Creative Cloud, a set of cloud-based creative tops. The service includes both free and paid plans for individuals and small businesses.

ClickMeeting

ClickMeeting is an online meeting service from Fusepoint. Launched in 2006, it was developed based on the company’s experience in cplaboration software development for large enterprises. It is a cloud-based service that allows users to schedule, manage and attend meetings online. The service allows unlimited participants, content sharing and recording of meetings, integration with enterprise directory services, and meeting scheduling via email. ClickMeeting integrates with cloud storage services Dropbox and Box, Google Calendar and Microsoft Exchange Server.

Integration of Adobe Sign and ClickMeeting

Adobe Sign can be accessed using the Adobe Reader browser plug-in. Users can start electronic forms and fill them out using their web browsers (Internet Explorer or Firefox. Users can send documents to people who do not have Adobe software installed on their computers by downloading the free Adobe Acrobat Reader DC software to their computers.

In June 2013, Adobe announced that it was integrating Adobe Sign and ClickMeeting into its Creative Cloud suite of products and services. Users can integrate the two services with each other and share tasks from ClickMeeting to Adobe Sign so that users can continue working on documents while they are signed electronically. Task status will automatically update in both ClickMeeting and Adobe Sign. When users finish signing documents electronically, they can also choose to share documents with cpleagues or customers who have not signed them yet.

Benefits of Integration of Adobe Sign and ClickMeeting

Adobe Sign provides benefits such as:

Integration with Creative Cloud

Automated system for checking signatures for specific data fields (e.g., expiration date)

Secure connection between the signer and the site hosting the document; only authorized parties can access signed documents

Option to lock out unauthorized users from accessing signed documents, enabling companies to protect sensitive information against tampering or editing of documents, malicious use by hackers, etc.

Sharing of tasks from ClickMeeting to Adobe Sign allows users to work on documents while they are signed electronically. Task status will automatically update in both ClickMeeting and Adobe Sign.
