When an appointment is schedule on Acuity Scheduling, the user can activate the “Paypal” button which will automatically create a new invoice in Paypal. The invoice will be sent to the client’s email account. After the client has paid the invoice, a notification will be sent to Acuity Scheduling and the appointment will automatically be booked. The integration of Acuity Scheduling and Paypal will streamline the process of booking appointments for both the clients and the service providers. For example, if a client wants to book an appointment with a photographer, he/she can go to Acuity Scheduling, search for a photographer and select his/her preferred time slot. The system will automatically create an invoice in Paypal and send it to the client. If the client agrees then he/she can click on the “Pay Now” button and make the payment. After payment has been made, a notification will be sent to Acuity Scheduling and the client will be notified by email. The appointment will be booked immediately.
