Acuity Scheduling is a calendar and scheduling software that allows users to schedule appointments for their business, practice or personal appointments. It is easy to use and integrates with Downtime Alert to provide me with the tops I need to monitor my business efficiently. Acuity Scheduling helps me to manage my customers better by allowing me to view their available schedules in one place and also allows me to schedule more than one event at a time. It also provides me with the option of adding notes, attaching documents and sending reminders. This application is perfect for my business as it saves me time when scheduling events and appointments.
Downtime Alert is an application that monitors my computers running Windows. If the computer goes offline, I am alerted via email or text message through the Downtime Alert website. This enables me to know immediately that my computer has gone offline, so I can take action if needed before any problems occur. I can also be alerted when my computer starts up and shuts down.
Although both applications are very effective in monitoring my business, they don’t communicate effectively with each other. I have to manually enter the information from Acuity Scheduling into Downtime Alert. This wastes a lot of time because it requires me to create two separate entries for every appointment that I schedule. This integration would make it easier for me to manage my business as I don’t have to switch between two different applications to do so.
I would save a lot of time if the two applications worked together because I wouldn’t have to enter each appointment twice into the same website. I could simply enter all my appointments into the Acuity Scheduling which would automatically transfer the information into Downtime Alert as well. This would allow me to schedule more events in a shorter period of time without having to waste time entering information twice into separate websites.
