Video Transcription: In this video I want to create kind of a reiteration and a reminder of like okay well how do you create an actual content plan so let's say this video is brought to you by Appy Pie’s Academy you have a business you want to create what's the plan for your next 50 post or so and you can do this for your own business or if you're doing it for a client if you're a freelancer or if you're an agency so this is for both situations so first of all you have to clearly identify your goals what do you want to achieve because everything will come from those goals and the goals can be just generating sales can be customer reengagement that's existing customers it can be warming up your potential leads it can be branding it can be a lot of different goals but you gotta take a singular goal you can hope to achieve all these things but one should be priority above all the others so that it's clear what the content should try to accomplish then for the kind of business you have you wanna identify the best content medium like is it YouTube is it blog what's the best fit for you and what's the best kind of media is it video is it audio is it written then from that you create your long-term content creation plan and the way you position each piece of content is like this for example let's say you decided okay SEO is gonna be a big part of my discoverability I want clients to come home from searching and so SEO so that means that the content you create may be YouTube videos or blog posts would have a lot of SEO focus or maybe if it's authority then you wanna create the content that maybe has a lot of references to scientific studies or research so that you can appear as a very authoritative source or if you want branding or reach then you know you want to create the kind of content that's more viral so SEO may be less of an issue and maybe you want to spend more time in your content creation being funny being flashy being more interesting more shareable making that content and you'll know which to focus on once you identify your goals and pick the type of medium and the platforms on which you'll be promoting and it will all kind of fit into place if your planning is structured that way which is obviously gonna give you much better results if you're putting out random posts.
