Social media marketing is a way of using social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and more to promote your business. It is also known as SMM or Social media marketing. Everybody has heard about it and everybody seems to be doing it these days. But most people don’t know how to do it and most people don’t even understand what it is exactly. So today I am going to discuss Search Engine Optimization and Social Media Marketing and their partnership with each other to help you better understand how social media can help your business.

A: Flier marketing

Flier marketing is a great way to advertise your business. It is great because you can post them in public places where people will see them frequently. If you are posting fliers in areas where there are lots of people who are interested in whatever your product is then it is even better. Too many people are scared of this method though because they think that people will not pay attention to them or that people will tear them down. That is simply not true. If you are posting fliers in the right area then you will see good results from them.

B: Instagram

Instagram is another great social media platform to use for promoting your business. This is a very visual platform so if you have a product that looks good or that looks appealing it will work out really well. You can post pictures of your products on your profile page and then share them to your followers. The more followers you have the better it will be for you. If you are just starting out then it will take some time for you to gain followers but once you do, then it will be much easier for you to gain more. Once you get started with Instagram, try adding hashtags to your photos so that people can find your account easier. Hashtags are words that begin with the # sign which makes it easier for people to search for specific things. For instance, if you were posting pictures of shoes, you could use the hashtag #shoes so that people could find your pictures easily if they want to buy shoes or if they are looking for new shoes.

C: Twitter

Twitter is also another great social media platform like Instagram. It is another visual platform like Instagram but it is different in the fact that you only get 140 characters per tweet instead of pictures. On Twitter, you will want to post daily updates about your business so that people can see what is going on with your business or any special promotions or sales that you might be having. Twitter is another great place to use hashtags so that people can find your tweets easier. Just like Instagram, using hashtags on Twitter will help bring attention to your tweets and allow more people to see them which will consequently help bring more traffic into your business which will result in more sales or leads for your business which will ultimately lead to more revenue for your business. Again, just like Instagram, start small and build up slowly. Don’t expect a lot of sales right away because it takes time to build a following on any social media platform. Take some time and build a following first and then everything else will follow after that.

D: Facebook

Facebook has been around for a while now and it has become one of the most popular social media platforms on the internet. Facebook may seem like a good place for advertising your business but actually it isn’t as effective as some other social media platforms such as Instagram or Twitter. Facebook tends to be used more by older people who are not as interested in purchasing products online as compared to some other social media platforms such as Facebook which tend to be used by younger generations who are always on their phones looking for new things all the time. When using Facebook to advertise your business, try posting pictures of your products or any news or anything at all really that you feel is important enough for your customers to see. As long as you have something interesting enough to say, you should be fine on Facebook. Also, use hashtags on Facebook just like on Instagram and Twitter so that more people can find your posts easier and more people can see what you have posted.
