A: Introducing and setting up the facebook pixel

As of right now, there are two main ways to collect data from online customers: Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel. Both tools allow you to create custom audiences based on website visits, but have different implications. To start, let's take a look at Facebook Pixel.

Facebook Pixel is a piece of code that you put into your site that allows you to track people's interests on Facebook. With this tool, you can get new customers by showing them custom ads based on their likes and interests. This is done by creating custom audiences using the information you get from your Facebook Pixel code. Once you have your code installed on your site, you can go to Facebook's ad manager to create custom audiences.

To create a Custom Audience, click on Create Audience > Create Custom Audience > Website Traffic.

Then, select the website where you have your facebook pixel installed. If it is not installed on your site yet, go to Facebook's guide here.

After you choose your website, click Next. On the next page, you can choose which page or event that you want to target on your website. You can also create custom criteria for your targeting if needed by clicking "Create Custom Criteria".

After selecting your criteria, click Next. Then, click Create Audience. Now you will be able to see how many people are in your audience and what percentage of them are in it. If you want to reach out to that demographic or just want to show them ads, then you can click on the Ads Manager button to create an ad campaign. Otherwise, you're done! Congratulations! You've successfully set up your Facebook Pixel. Now, let's move onto compatible tracking methods.

B: Introducing and setting up the Google Analytics Tracking Code

Google Analytics is a tool that allows you to track traffic coming to your website. You can do this in multiple ways including through the WordPress plugin, embedding it in your site's HTML code, or through Google Tag Manager. When using Google Analytics, you need to make sure that your users are tracked whether they view your site on mobile or desktop. This means that you need to use both Google Analytics code and Facebook Pixel code on your site for full tracking capabilities.
