A: Affiliate Marketing is when you make money when you refer people to products or services. You get paid when someone buys something using your affiliate link.
A: How to set up your facebook page so you can run ads
Step 1: Go to facebook.com/advertising and click “Get Started”
Step 2: Click on “Create an Ad”
Step 3: Select “Website Traffic” and then click “Create Ad”
Step 4: Fill in the form with the details of your product. If you are promoting a physical product, it must be shipped to customers by Amazon. You can not ship physical products yourself using this method. For example, you cannot promote the purchase of physical books. You can, however, promote ebook products that are provided through Amazon. If you are promoting a service, you will need to provide the information regarding your service. Remember if you are promoting an affiliate product, it must be purchased through amazon.
Step 5: Once you have filled in the form, click “Preview Your Ad”
Step 6: Select the audience that you want to see your ad. You can also narrow down your audience by clicking “Narrow Audience”. This option allows you to target people based on interests, likes, behaviors, demographics, location etc.
Step 7: Select the type of ad you want to run. You have two options, cost per click or cost per impression. Cost per click means you pay for each time someone clicks on your ad. Cost per impression means you pay for each time someone sees your ad. If you are just starting out, select “cost per impression” because it is cheaper to get people to see your ad than it is to get them to click on it.
Once you have set up your ad, you can start running it! To do this, go to the same section where you create ads and select “create an ad” again. Now click on “create an ad” again. Make sure the top box says “Status” and not “Draft” and then copy and paste your ad into the box under “Create Ad” and select “Create Ad” again. Then select “Advanced Options” and choose your ad schedule and budget. Then select the day and time you would like the ad to run and hit save and review. It is that easy!
