I: Introduction

A: Make money with affiliate marketing

According to Wikipedia, affiliate marketing is a type of performance-based marketing in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought by the affiliate’s own marketing efforts.

Affiliate marketing has become an increasingly important form of monetization for publishers, content creators, and many other individuals who use the Internet to communicate with their audience.

When you start your journey into affiliate marketing, you will face several questions. You have to decide on a niche that will help you succeed in making money online. For example, if you are passionate about music, you might want to work with musicians, producers, and labels to promote songs, albums, videos, etc., so they can make money from their music. Another example might be to work with entrepreneurs who are looking for new ways to grow their businesses. You can choose your niche and easily create a website to make it look modern and professional to attract your customers and potential clients.

Another question would be what channel to use. There are several options: you can use blogs, social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram), and YouTube channel. The channel should be linked with your product/service you want to sell. For example, if the product is educational material or e-books, you should use a blog or other educational materials website like HubPages or Udemy. If the product you sell is clothing, you can use YouTube channel. And if your product is an online course, you should use Instagram or Facebook. You can also put banners on your website or blog and ask people to follow your social media accounts so they could get updates about products and promotions.

A: Client case study: choosing an affiliate influencer niche and monetizing it

I am going to give you an example of how I decided on my affiliate marketing niche and how I made money from that niche. I was looking for a way to earn some extra cash to pay for my monthly expenses such as rent, food, bills, etc. I was thinking about starting an online business because I always wanted to be an entrepreneur and choose my own schedule at any time I want. But I didn’t have enough time to do it full-time because I also had a full-time job and a family. So I thought about doing something part-time in my free time in which I could make a decent amount of money in a short period of time. I decided that I want to make money from affiliate marketing because it seemed easy to me and I could start right away without much knowledge. The only thing I needed was a website where I could promote other people’s products and programs. And then came my next decision: what kind of products do I want to promote?

What kind of affiliate marketer do you want to be?

How much money you want to make per month?

How much time you want to spend per day or week?

How much income you need per month?

How much risk are you ready to take?

What is your education background? Do you have any skills that could be helpful in your affiliate marketing business? For example, if you have SEO knowledge or blogging skills that might help you increase traffic to your website or blog.

Do you have any connections in your industry that could help you do more business? For example, if you know someone who has an online store whom you could promote on your site. Or if you know someone who has an online course that he/she might be willing to give you for free or at discount if you promote it on your website. Also, if you have some connections with influencers on YouTube or Instagram who could help promote your website or product on their channels/pages/groups/profiles/blogs/etc., this would be very helpful for building your audience. You can also pay them some money if they want to do it for free. Now let’s move on to my situation…

I knew that I had no experience in blogging or writing articles but I had some SEO knowledge. So I thought that maybe I will try my luck by making some money by promoting other people’s e-books or webinars. After reading several articles about affiliate marketing, I found out that there is no good place where you can promote the most popular e-books and webinars like “The 4-Hour Workweek” by Tim Ferriss or “Crush It!” by Gary Vaynerchuk. There were some review sites but they were outdated and not very profitable for affiliate marketers because they were getting paid just $10-$20 per order! On the contrary, there were websites that were helping people find the best books online but they didn’t have any affiliate program so it wasn’t possible for me to monetize those websites. This is when I decided that it would be great if there was a website where users could read book reviews but also buy the book if they liked it after reading the review so they wouldn’t have to go through all the trouble of searching for the book title on Amazon, clicking on the book title on Amazon, searching for the book title on Google Books, clicking on the book title on Google Books, etc., especially if the book was out of print or hard-to-find. This way people would save their time and would probably end up buying more books because they are already on my website. After doing some research, I found out that there are several websites like Bookoutlet, Book Depository, Alibris, Abe Books, etc., where readers can buy out-of-print books or pre-owned books at discounted prices but there was no affiliate program on those websites! So this is when I decided to create my own website where users could buy their favorite books at discounted prices and where they would be able to earn commissions from each purchase!

What should be the name of my site? At first, I was thinking about doing something related with books such as “Bookopolis” or “Bookerly” but these names were already taken by other people so I decided to do something else: “Booknow!” Since my website is all about books and readers can redeem their books using our unique barcodes that we provide them with at checkout and we issue them a refund if they don’t like the book they bought or if it was damaged during shipping (this is one of our advantages compared to other similar websites). So this is how my idea developed into creating an affiliate website called BookNow!

How will my site look like? Would it be useful for readers? Would it be useful for me as the owner of the website? Would people like it? These were all questions that crossed my mind before doing anything else. After brainstorming and thinking about what features my website should have and what features should not have (remember that less is more!), I came up with a simple design and created a simple website that would look like this:

http://www.booknowaffiliateprogram.com

This was how my website looked like when it launched…

I couldn’t wait to launch it! But before launching my site, I wanted to check if there were any similar websites already existing so i checked for keywords such as “used books”, “used books online”, “buy used books online”, etc., but there were no results! Then I went to Google Keyword Planner Tool and checked the search volume of the keywords related to used books and found out that there were no results available as well! So this is when I knew that there were no similar websites out there and I could actually make money from it!

I launched my website with less than 10 positive reviews from other websites such as Goodreads, Barnes & Noble, Amazon US, etc., but after a few weeks after launching my website with only few positive reviews from other websites such as Goodreads, Barnes & Noble, Amazon US, etc., but after a few weeks after launching my website with only few positive reviews from other websites such as Goodreads, Barnes & Noble, Amazon US , etc., but after a few weeks after launching my website with only few positive reviews from other websites such as Goodreads , Barnes & Noble , Amazon US , etc., but after a few weeks after launching my website with only few positive reviews from other websites such as Goodreads , Barnes & Noble , Amazon US , etc., but after a few weeks after launching my website with only few positive reviews from other websites such as Goodreads , Barnes & Noble , Amazon US , etc., but after a few weeks after launching my website with only few positive reviews
