I: Introduction

A: Make money with affiliate marketing

Affiliate programs is a way to make money using the internet and by using affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing is a partnership between advertisers and publishers (you). An affiliate program will place ads on your website and if somebody clicks on the ad and buys a product or service, you will receive a certain percentage of the sale as a commission. A good way to start with affiliate marketing is to create an account on Amazon and sign up for the Amazon Associates Program. Amazon is one of the biggest online shopping portals in the world and their affiliate program is very popular.

II: Body

A: Adding your video to the ad

This step requires that you have created a video about your products or services. If you have not done that yet, then you should do that before you continue reading. I will explain how to add your video to the Amazon affiliate ads in the next paragraph after this one.

To add your video to Amazon’s ads, follow these steps:

Go to https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/advertising/api/detail/main.html?ie=UTF8&symbol=YOUR_AFFILIATE_ID&loc=en_US&siteID=YOUR_SITE_ID Go to “Create New Video Campaign” Now, you can name your campaign whatever you want. This is just a name for the campaign, so it does not really matter what you enter here. Next, you can choose which products you would like to advertise. The more products you include, the more money you will make. You can also exclude certain products from this campaign if they are not related to what you are trying to promote. Now, you need to pick a thumbnail for your campaign. This image will be displayed on Amazon’s website when people are browsing the product page where the ads are placed. For this step, click on “Upload an Image” and upload an image for your thumbnail. When adding images, make sure that they are at least 1000 pixels wide and 100 pixels high. These images will automatically be resized into different sizes to fit any product page where they are placed. You can also write a short description of your product or service in this field. Just write whatever you want here. This description will probably not be shown on Amazon’s website whenever somebody is looking at this product page so it does not matter how long it is. The last thing you need to do is pick a video quality for your campaign. The higher quality your video, the better it will look on Amazon’s website but it will also take longer to load. If you want your ad to load quickly, then select “HIGH (480p)” video quality for your campaign. If you want your ad to look good, then select “LOW (720p)” video quality for your campaign. Now click “Save Draft” because we are not finished yet! We still need to create an ad group! You can do that by clicking on “Create Ad Group” in the upper right corner of the screen. Once again, name your ad group whatever you want but make sure it describes what kind of product or service you are promoting here! To add your video, click on “Video Campaigns” from the left navigation menu on the screen and then click on the video campaign that we have been working on in the previous steps. Under “Ad Groups” on the left navigation menu, click on “New Ad Group” and name it again whatever you want! It is important that you name these ad groups properly because these ad groups will be used in all of your future ads! Under “Targeting Settings” click on “GeoTargeting” and select the countries where you want to place your ads! Click on “Save Draft” again! Now, we need to create one more ad group! Click on “New Ad Group” from the left navigation menu on the screen and name it again whatever you want! Now, go back to the main ad campaign page by clicking on “Main Campaigns” from the left navigation menu on the screen and then click on the main campaign that we have been working on in the previous steps under “Ad Groups” on the left navigation menu. Under “Targeting Settings” click on “Keywords” and add keywords for this ad group! To add keywords, type in keywords in the search field and add them under “Placement Targeting”. Don’t forget to save your draft again when you are done! Finally, we need to put our main campaign with our videos into an ad group! Click on “Main Campaigns” from the left navigation menu and then click on the main campaign that we have been working on in all of these previous steps under “Ad Groups” on the left navigation menu. Under “Campaign Settings” click on “General Settings” and select “Regular Product Ads” from the dropdown menu! Now, we can put our videos into our ads! Click on “Video Campaigns” from the left navigation menu and then click on the video campaign that we have been working on in all of these previous steps under “Ad Groups” on the left navigation menu. Under “Product Placements” click and drag and drop all of your videos into all of your ad groups! Now we can save our ad groups again by clicking on “Save Draft!” That was a lot of work but now we are done! Our ads are live now! Click on “View Campaign Report” from the left navigation menu on the screen where it says “Campaign Performance Report” and then click on “Creative Viewer Report” from there. Click on all of your ads that are live now until you reach the last one. Click on “Copy Creative Info” from there and copy all code from there into a text file because this code is what we need later to link our ads with YouTube videos!
