This course is brought to you by Appy Pie as part of our Academy series number 64 how much energy you waste on this one part of every website and it's ads ads ads ads whether you're watching a video and an ad pops up or you're browsing and looking and an ad is on the side it does take away your time does take away your energy your attention even if you briefly glanced at it it still is something you're looking at and that doesn't need to be the case so we're going to install adblock on our computers a lot of people don't know about this but it's actually possible and legal to stop these ads from popping up so you don't have to worry about any of these issues so enough to wait worried about the waste of time the waste of energy and so on and so forth let's take a look at using adblock to our advantage okay open up your browser we're gonna go to the google chrome store now this is gonna be dependent on whatever browser you're gonna use so if it's Firefox you're probably a Firefox store or you don't like the idea here and there are built-in popup blockers into the browser you know whether it's Chrome where those Firefox with Internet Explorer whether it's opera whether it's any other one they usually have built-in ones but sometimes they don't catch all of them so let's just type in pop-up blocker here and it's that simple so it's gonna have these pop-up blockers pop-up blocker pop the blocker Pro JavaScript pop-up blocker and it's that simple you're gonna click the Add to Chrome or download button 4 it's gonna pop up here it's gonna block those pop-ups for you but it really is that simple
