The need for programming languages was first felt when the first computers were created, and they needed a language to code programs in. Since its creation, programming languages have come a long way. Today, there are many different types of languages, which do different things. This paper will be about the most popular programming languages – Python – and what makes them special to the people who use them.

II: Body

The first thing that needs to be discussed is that Python is a high-level language, which means it is easy to use, and can be understood very quickly by someone who knows how to write programs. It is also complete, meaning that it allows for the programmer to write programs for any type of project. Because it is so easy to use, it has a high readability, or a low number of lines used to write a program.

Another interesting thing about python is that it is a multi-paradigm language. This means that it can be used in any way needed, instead of being only one way. For example, if a programmer wanted to write a program that would do something similar to a calculator, he or she could use the imperative programming style. If he or she wanted to create a program that would take in an object and change all the letters into another letter, he or she could use functional programming. Python also supports dynamic typing and functional programming as well as object-oriented programming. This means that the programmer does not need to worry about what data type he or she uses throughout his or her programs; he or she can change the data type whenever it is needed. The last feature of Python that needs to be noted is its extensive library. There are many developers who spend their time creating libraries for Python that people can use in their programs. These libraries make it easier for programmers to do things that might take a lot of time if they had to code it themselves.

III: Conclusion

The conclusion of this paper should restate the importance of Python and why people should use it over other languages. The first thing should be to talk about its importance and why it is better than other languages, including Java and C++. Then, you should state how simple it is to learn and how easy it is to start writing programs with it. Also, you should discuss some of the features of the language that makes it so useful and important, such as its large library and ability to do multiple paradigms. Finally, you should state that since Python was created, it has been made into several versions, which can be used on any computer or operating system.
