I: Introduction

A: The first topic of our outline is the introduction. For this we would like to talk about just how important it is to have a landing page for your website and how it can help with conversion rate optimization. According to an article by Dan Leger, “the most successful landing pages actually solve a problem or fill a gap for customers. They’re not just an ad on a page” (Leger). This means that customers will better understand what you are trying to sell if they can see what you are selling. If your website does not have a landing page, then you may be missing out on potential leads.

II: Body

A: The idea of the body is to talk about the importance of Yelp and Google my business for local businesses. First, there is Yelp which is one of the biggest places to find local businesses. According to an article called “Google My Business vs Yelp for Local SEO” by Neil Patel, “Yelp has over 140 million unique users per month, which means that Yelp is more likely to show up organically in Google results than your business web page or even your Google+ Local page” (Patel). This means that Yelp is much more likely to show up in Google results for local businesses than any other site or social media site. Which can mean more potential leads for businesses.

III: Conclusion

A: The final part of the outline is the conclusion. We want to talk about how important it is to have a landing page for your website. It shows that you are willing to invest in your company, it shows that you are willing to create a relationship with your customers, and that you are willing to show them that you care about them. It also highlights the importance of having a good profile on Yelp and Google my business. Both of these sites are very important for local businesses and can lead to many new clients.
