A: Landing page conversion rate optimization

Landing pages are one of the most effective ways to get leads, sales and revenue. They are the first thing prospects see when they visit your website. Here you can appeal to their needs, create a sense of urgency or even encourage them to take action.

Why is importance of landing page optimization?

First impressions are everything. Your landing page is your first impression to your visitors. If your landing page doesn’t impress them, you will loose them for sure. It doesn’t matter how great your product or service is if you don’t design your landing page correctly.

Visual marketing is more important than ever before. That’s why we need to make sure that we keep all of the factors in mind and create an impactful, responsive and stunning landing page that speaks directly to our target customers and potential leads.

Many businesses focus on marketing campaigns and forget about the importance of their landing pages. But it’s crucial for their business to invest time and resources in creating high converting landing pages.

Use correct keywords and optimize them

You probably heard that using keywords on your website is important for SEO purposes. Well, it is as well as for your landing page. Using the right keywords helps you to reach the exact audience you want to reach. There are two important things you should keep in mind:

1 – Use long tail keywords – Long tail keywords usually have low search volume but they bring you exactly the kind of traffic that you want – highly targeted and interested in your products and services. Long tail keywords help you with getting the exact type of customer you want. For example, instead of writing “buy shoes online”, use “mens shoes size 10” or “where to buy mens dress shoes” 2 – Make sure that your keywords are logical – Don’t use words that don’t make sense together or on their own. This will only confuse the visitor and make them leave your website immediately without doing anything else.

Clear call-to-action buttons

The purpose of a landing page is to convert a visitor into a lead and a lead into a sale. You need to make sure that you use clear and concise call-to-action buttons that will guide your visitors through the buying process. The less steps they need to take to complete a purchase, the better. With a clear call-to-action button, they know exactly where to click on and what they need to do next. It’s also important that you include an appropriate message above or below your call-to-action button that encourages visitors to take action.
