I: Introduction

A: Helping students work efficiently through the use of Ziegarnik effect

II: Body

A: This is based on the idea that knowledge sticks in our heads better if we are interrupted. It is also based on the idea that unfinished tasks are associated with personal feelings of responsibility. The unfinished task becomes a part of our identity. This explains why, when we have an urgent deadline, we are more likely to finish our work quickly.

III: Conclusion

I: Introduction

A: My research will show how the Ziegarnik effect can be used to help students work more efficiently and make them feel like they want to complete their tasks.

II: Body

A: I will use this and other theories and ideas to explain how students can be helped by the Ziegarnik effect. If students are interrupted, they will be more likely to finish their tasks. When teachers break up projects into smaller steps, students will feel like they want to complete their work. I will also explore how students can use the Ziegarnik effect. For example, they can create a list of projects they need to complete and check off what they have done each day. I will also discuss how teachers can use the Ziegarnik effect. They can also assign smaller tasks for students and check off what they have done and what needs to be done and give grades accordingly. This will encourage students to complete more tasks and improve learning outcomes. With more help from teachers and students using the Ziegarnik effect, students will be able to work more productively and more efficiently at home or school.
