I: Introduction

A: Introduction

1. The purpose of this article is to guide people who work from home and those who aspire to work from home to work from home productively, and reduce stress levels.

2. The thesis is working from home can be productive and fun and reduce stress.

3. The audience for this article is anyone who works or aspires to work from home and/or that wants to reduce stress.

4. The thesis is working from home can be stressful if you do not know how to manage your time and energy well and not fun if you do not know how to make it fun.

5. In the first paragraph I will give a definition for working from home. In the next paragraph I will give a definition for productivity, and in the following paragraphs I will describe what productivity means to me.

6. In the last paragraph of the introduction I will provide a personal example.

7. In the first sentence of the first paragraph I will state the purpose of the article and the thesis statement. In the next sentences I will support my thesis with facts and statistics about working from home and how it can be stressful and not fun if you do not know how to manage your time and energy well. In the following sentences I will give examples of how to manage your time and energy well. In the last sentence of the first paragraph I will tell what you should take away from this article. In the next paragraph I will describe what productivity means to me. In the following paragraphs I will give a personal example of a time when I was productive, how I managed my time and energy well, and how it made me feel good about myself even though it was a difficult task because it was something that was important for me to do at that time. In the last sentence of the first body paragraph I will tell what you should take away from this article. In the next paragraph I will provide a definition for stress management and describe why writing in your stress journal is important. Then I will describe what my stress journal looks like, its benefits, how often I write in it, and why it is important to keep it up daily. In the last sentence of the second body paragraph I will tell what you should take away from this article. In the conclusion I will restate my thesis statement by telling you again that working from home is productive, fun, reduces stress, but only if you know how to manage your time and energy well, and also by giving you two things you can do right now in order to be more productive in your work from home job or career.
