Video Transcription: So I want to show you exactly what I did what I do to rank my videos or at least to position them well to be in search this video is brought to you by Appy Pie’s Academy and this is a very competitive and difficult search term facebook marketing okay it's difficult to rank for this I appear number nine as in the organic listings and I didn't do anything like boosting this video with advertising or like my some of my competitors did and a lot of my competitors they're very known highly branded people like Mary Smith and like Gary Vaynerchuk so I'm in pretty good company here so okay we cleared that up now here's what we're going to Facebook marketing how did I rank for this right and I'm gonna walk you this is my area where I edit the video so first of all let's examine the title this is my title I have Facebook marketing as the main first work right and then I have it actually I think I have it twice so I have to have the word Facebook again maybe he I have that word I had the word promote but maybe if I had the word Facebook marketing in my title twice it would be even more effective then of course this video has to be good right because look at the likes I have a hundred sixty four likes and only four dislikes okay that's a crazy ratio so people have to like the video and that now I'm gonna show you how I wrote the description because people don't like the video in they're gonna watch it in a way that shows YouTube that they're not into it and then YouTube's just not going to rank it so so actually making the video that they like is a big part of on video marketing but look at how I bring this video and by the way even though I showed you that this video ranks for the word Facebook marketing.

It also ranks for how to promote your business on Facebook how to promote your business right because strategies Facebook marketing strategies promote so I positioned it for many different related keywords that people might search but look I wrote description I also added videos here you may not want to do that but I also added my additional videos for next things to watch but what I really did was long description and a lot of Facebook marketing that's a keyword how to promote your business on Facebook that's a keyword right because I think if we search for this keyword here how to promote your business on Facebook I'm number two I don't know why I used to be number one but I'm number two for the search right so I'm also ranking here and then you see Facebook marketing Facebook business so all the related terms that make for long tail searches are in here right and I'll quickly show you my meta keywords area right Facebook marketing Facebook how to promote your business on Facebook promote your business how to promote a business don't never mind this problem your social that's something else that I'm doing but you know Facebook marketing strategies I can also add like Facebook like marketing strategy things like that in that combination of a lot of repetition of your keywords I do it maybe too much even um you know but I kind of get away with it so far on Facebook on YouTube you may not want to do as heavy keywording but notice also that I do use my keyword my main keywords everywhere and also notice that I use I kind of did enough keyword research to know what are all the different related searches like Facebook marketing strategies Facebook marketing strategy how to promote your business how to promote your business on Facebook all that right Oh so I also created enough of a variation of keywords to give this video a chance to rank for all the permutations right the long tail searches and that so I'm going to just quickly save this and that's something that also gives me a lot of use for this video and that's it that's how I position my videos a lot of them to rank in search and that's actually how you give the video as chance as possible to rank in search.
