Setting the header and basic information

Video Transcription : I want to show you how to control this top area because this is kind of your branding area this video is brought to you by Appy Pie Academy and it has a few elements and an easy to control so let's get right to it so you go to dashboard appearance and then header and then you see that actually you can change this entire image because this kind of rhythm is you know it's maybe not representative of your brand what you want this to have it do you have it you want to have it be representative of your brand and you can get this image the background image not the text because you'll change that in a second you can get that background image replaced you can get it um somebody can make it for you for as little as five dollars on fiber FIV e RR dot-com or you can have a design there make it is basically they kind of tell you what you need for this particular theme what you need to have in your banner and if you choose a different theme you'll have a sort of similar process to change the banner you know they may have a slightly different size or they may have also you know some some a few other more complex requirements but generally this is how it would be so you would just kind of select the image and upload it here I won't do that because I don't have that image yet for my blog but actually I should soon okay and you can also change this random you know these kind of things but I don't think it makes a whole lot of difference I think what you want is that like a nice branded banner anyway what I wanted to do is show you how to customize this thing so you click on the customize link and it takes you to this sort of thing and you can see how easy it will be so a title you know my title is complete pretty breakup so I don't have a better slogan right now so let's give you that and let's make like some kind of catchy tagline and you may not have this tagline it's optional but you know it's gonna be kind of an oozy thing right so maybe okay maybe we'll see and then you can see that you can have you know the header image you can change it just like you could change it there navigation that's what we that's what we want we don't want to change that so we kind of just wanna save that and let's see what happens so there you go it's it's not well branded because we still need a image right we still need this big image but generally it's coming together so we have a header we have a side here like a second column we have our blogs we have our navigation and we are essentially ready to go for the most part so that's it that's how you that's how you control the hitter.
