I: Introduction

Advertising is one of the most important aspects of business. It is used to persuade people to buy products or services. It is also used to increase awareness of a product or service.

Advertising can be broken into three categories:

1. Direct Advertising

2. Sales Promotion

3. Public Relations

Direct advertising uses information about a product or service to persuade people to buy it. This type of advertising occurs when you see an ad on television, radio, or in a magazine or newspaper. The ad contains information about the product or service being advertised.

Sales promotion incorporates the use of special deals, contests, discounts, and events to persuade people to buy a product or service. This type of advertising occurs when a store owner gives a discount on a new product or service to encourage people to buy it.

Public relations involves the use of news releases and articles written by a company to highlight that company's products and services. This type of advertising occurs when a company wants to tell the public about its new products and services. PR is often done with no financial cost to the company. In this way, PR can be used as a substitute for paid advertising, but it usually has less effect than paid advertising.

Examples of Public Relations:

A: How to become an amazon best seller

In today’s online world, selling books has never been easier. With the help of internet publishing platforms like Amazon Kindle and Apple iBooks, it has never been easier to self-publish a book and sell it globally to your targeted audience. But what’s even more impressive is knowing how to make your book a bestseller. Here are some tips from some best-selling authors on how they became best-selling authors on Amazon Kindle and Apple iBooks.

1) Choose Your Genre Carefully

When you want to become an amazon best seller, you need to know which genre will sell the most copies. Is your book fiction or nonfiction? Is it romance? Mystery? Science Fiction? It’s important to choose a genre that you’re passionate about and has high demand and low competition. If you’ve already written your book and don’t know where to start, look at the “Bestsellers in Books” section on Amazon and look at what other books are selling well in your genre. These books will give you an idea of what type of book will sell really well. Some good genres that have great demand include: Thriller/Suspense, Nonfiction (Personal Development/Health), Self-Help/Relationships, Romance, Mystery/Thriller, and Science Fiction. Once you’ve chosen your genre and completed your book (and even before you complete it), do some keyword research using tools like the Amazon keyword tool and Google Trends to see what keywords you can rank for within your niche. You can learn more about keyword research here. Keywords are definitely something you’ll want to focus on as they will help you rank higher in Amazon (which means more sales!). An example of a keyword you could rank for might be “how to publish a book on Amazon”. Well-thought out keywords will help drive traffic to your book page and ultimately lead to more sales! 2) Price Your Book Between $2.99-$5.99 Pricing your book between $2.99-$5.99 is proven to be optimal for ranking higher in Amazon especially if you are just starting out as an author/self-published author. If you set your book price lower than that, then it may take longer for you to get ranked on Amazon because it will have less perceived value because of its low price point. However, if you set your price higher than that, then you run the risk of turning off potential buyers who may not want to pay more than $5 for a short read. So it’s important to find that sweet spot where you can charge the right price without scaring off potential buyers.

It’s also important that you’re consistent with your pricing strategy across all your books because if one book is priced higher than the other(s), then there may be some confusion among potential buyers as to why they are paying more for one book over another when they are essentially the same content length/word count/genre/etc. 3) Write A Compelling Book Description Your book description is very important because this is what people will see before they decide whether or not to buy your book based on its description alone. If your description doesn’t capture their attention, then they won’t bother buying it no matter how much effort you took into creating that masterpiece! That’s why it’s important that you spend time writing compelling descriptions for all of your books so that you can really stand out from other authors on Amazon Kindle. Here are some pointers on writing an effective book description: Be specific – Give people an idea of what they should expect when they read your book (e.g., If your book is about losing weight, then tell them how many pounds they can expect to lose).

Use keywords – Make sure that your descriptions contain keywords that will help you rank high in Amazon (you can use the Amazon Keyword Tool here).

Keep it super short – Keep your descriptions under 500 words because anything longer than that tends to bore people which means they will click away!

Be catchy – Use superlatives like “best”, “easy” , “fastest” , etc…to describe your book or product. For example, if I were writing a description about my upcoming book titled “How To Be An Amazon Bestseller In 7 Days Or Less” , I might write something like this:

“This guide teaches you how to become an Amazon bestseller in 7 days or less! I show you exactly what I did to make my first-ever book a top 10 bestseller on Amazon Kindle! This e-book includes step-by-step instructions on exactly what you need to do from day 1 to day 7 including: How to write a book quickly even if you don't have much time available How you can create a bestselling cover using just PowerPoint! How to format your e-book correctly so it looks professional How I got 5+ positive reviews on my book before I launched it - all from just one family member! And much more…” 4) Write A Compelling Author Bio Author Bios are very important because this is another place where people can get a sense of who you are as an author and what type of work they can expect from you in the future. People want to feel comforted when they purchase a product so having a bio with some basic information about yourself helps provide them with a sense of security knowing that they're buying from someone who is legitimate and trustworthy (and not some scammer!). Here are some pointers on writing an effective author bio: Keep it short – Keep it short and sweet (under 100 words).

Use keywords – Find some keywords that describe who you are as an author (e.g., “bestselling author”, “romance writer”) and include them in your bio!

End with a question - End with a question like "Want To Know My Secret To Publishing A Bestselling Book On Amazon Kindle?" This will make readers curious about what your secret is and compel them to purchase your book! 5) Create An Eye-Catching Cover Using Tools Like Canva And Photoshop If you haven't heard by now, cover design is VERY IMPORTANT when trying to promote books online especially for Amazon Kindle because if your cover isn't eye-catching then people won't notice it since there are millions of books listed on Amazon Kindle! That's why we recommend using tools like Canva and Photoshop when designing covers for your books so that you can ensure that they look super professional and catch people's attention immediately when they land on your book page in Amazon Kindle. Make sure that your cover includes text because text makes up at least 20% of what catches people's attention when looking at books online which means that including text in your title or subtitle will help make sure that people notice it! 6) Write A Compelling Pitch/Summary Using Tools Like Hemingway App Before publishing any books online, make sure that you sit down and write a compelling pitch or summary for each one of them so that people immediately get hooked into what's inside them! You can use tools like Hemingway app for this but if you really want to make sure that your pitch is compelling enough then read this article about how I wrote my pitch for my upcoming eBook titled "How To Be
