I: Introduction

In this article I will be discussing the ways in which event management and marketing can help to create a successful event. In particular, I will be discussing the importance of social media and customer support during the event

II: Body

The social media aspect of an event is essential as it allows for easy communication to take place between the organization and the attendees. Not only does this allow for clarification of questions to be passed on to other attendees, but it also assists in the promotion of the event. When planning the event, it is important that you know what your target market is and what they are interested in. It is crucial to understand who you are designing the event for so that you can accurately determine what information should be posted. One way to do this is by conducting surveys prior to the event to get an idea of what people are interested in. Another tool which can be used to promote your event is email. It is crucial that you collect email addresses from all of your attendees. This can be done via registration forms at the event or through social media (for example using the Facebook custom audience feature). The more you can collect, the more targeted your promotion will be which will greatly increase attendance. It is also important that you follow up with attendees after the event to encourage them to share their experience. This can be done through social media (for example by encouraging them to share their thoughts about the event on Twitter or Facebook). By doing this, not only will you get positive feedback about the event, but you will also be able to find out if there are any problems which need to be addressed for future events.

III: Conclusion

The conclusion to my article will focus on how implementing these strategies will improve attendance at future events. It is important that you are aware of the strategy behind each decision that you make when planning an event. If you are not sure why you are making a decision, don’t do it! It is crucial that you have a plan when organizing an event so that you can identify what went well and what didn’t during the process so that you can improve upon it for future events.
