I: Introduction

A: Introduction to Programming Languages

Programming languages are the code that is used to streamline and function software. A programming language can be used to create a wide variety of software, from games to business management programs. There are a few different styles of programming languages, but the most common type is called a procedural language. This type of programming language is also known as a compiled language, because it is translated into a computer's native language before a program can be run. The other popular type of programming language is an object-oriented one. This style is known as an interpreted language, because the program is translated into a computer's native language as it runs. In this article, we will discuss the different types of programming languages, as well as the advantages and disadvantages associated with each type.

A: Section review of displaying text content with html5

Html stands for Hyper Text Markup Language. It is a language used to display text content on a webpage. Html code looks like plain English, but a computer sees it as a series of instructions. For example, if a website wanted to display the following words: "This is an example", it would have to use html to tell the computer how to display those words. This means that the code must tell the computer what code should be displayed, as well as where it should appear on the page. So, in order for a computer to display the words "This is an example", it would have to understand that the words are supposed to appear in bold, italics, with larger letters, in blue color, with no underline, and centered on the page. This is why html coding can get complicated when trying to display more than just a few words on a page. However, if done correctly, it can produce beautiful results.

B: Section review of creating games with java

Java is an object-oriented programming language created by Sun Microsystems in 1995. Java is one of the most popular programming languages in use today. Java is used to write software programs that are known as applets. These are programs that are downloaded onto someone's computer in order to perform certain tasks on their computer. Some examples of tasks performed by applets are playing music or displaying advertisements. To create an applet, java code is written using visual tools called integrated development environments (IDEs). Once this code is written, it can be copied into any website that has space for java applets. The applet then runs on the website's server, and not on the user's computer. Because java applets run on servers, they do not need to be installed on every user's computer in order to work. This gives java applets an advantage over some other types of software programs available on the internet, because users don't have to worry about installing new programs onto their computers in order for them to function properly. Apps created using the java programming language are known as Java applications or Java apps. Java is also used to create standalone applications that do not require any outside program in order for them to operate properly. While java is often used to create networked applications, it can also be used to create nonnetworked applications that run on single user systems.

C: Section review of creating webpages with css3

Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) was created by Håkon Wium Lie of Norway's Opera Software company, and Bert Bos of Netherlands' CERN organization in 1996. CSS is used by developers around the world to format HTML code on websites. Just like html code, CSS code looks like plain English, but it contains instructions that tell the computer how to display various elements on a webpage. CSS code tells the computer how large headlines should be, what font face and size should be used for them, what color they should be displayed in, and whether or not they should contain animation effects like moving text or blinking images. Each element on a webpage can have its own CSS code attached to it in order to specify the elements appearance and formatting options. Additionally, CSS code can also be used to set default properties for specific html tags so that when they appear on a webpage they will have the same appearance every time. For example, when you use the

tag in html code, each time it appears on a webpage it will have a certain font face and size specified by default so that it looks consistent with other headings on the page. This type of functionality makes it so websites look much more professional and appealing because users will not have to change the appearance of every heading manually every time they add a new one to a page. The biggest disadvantage associated with CSS is that there are many different browsers that interpret CSS code differently from one another. Because of this issue it can be difficult for web designers to maintain consistency across multiple browsers when using CSS code.
