1: Font size is the size of the text. Some programming languages make a distinction between a font and a font size. In this case, a character is a "pixel" which is a square dot in a grid that makes up an image. The characters can be set in different fonts or in different sizes. Fonts use different styles of the same letter. For example, "Times New Roman" and "Comic Sans MS" are fonts which use the same letter character but they have different styles. In the same way, the same letters can be given different sizes. A font is the set of all the letters and numbers in a particular style. A font size is the size of the letters and numbers in a font. Programming languages often select a font and font size for you. You can use character codes to change them if you want.

However, if you add these fonts to your computer you will add new characters such as Greek letters to your keyboard. This may interfere with your ability to properly use other programs on your computer, so it is important that you know how to do it properly.

Another way involves changing your settings in the "Control Panel." The Control Panel is found in Windows operating systems such as Windows XP or Vista.
