I: Introduction

In today’s world, technology has advanced so much that people have become used to the fact that they can accomplish anything with a click of a button. Technology is a field that has been around for centuries and will continue to grow as time goes by. One area that has grown to be an integral part of our lives is the field of programming. Programming deals with writing instructions for a computer to follow. The instructions are written using different languages. A programming language is a language that is used to command the computer what to do. There are many programming languages and each one serves a different purpose. Some programming languages are designed to create games and others to handle website development and other applications. This paper will discuss how we can use different programming languages to make our lives easier and more fun.

II: Body

The first step in programming is to choose which language you will use to write your code. There are many different types of programming languages. One such language is called JavaScript. “JavaScript is a lightweight, interpreted, object-oriented language with first-class functions. It is most commonly used as part of web pages, but it can also be used in many other applications” (W3Schools). JavaScript can be used to create web applications and also to create desktop applications and websites. Another popular language is C ++. C ++ is a programming language that was created to allow programmers to create programs faster than doing so in assembly language. “C++ is a compiled, statically typed, free-form, multi-paradigm, imperative, cross-platform, highly portable programming language” (Wikipedia). C++ is used in all sorts of applications. It has been used in creating video games, 3D games, websites, robots, and many other software programs that are available today. Another language that is great for building websites is Python. “Python is a general purpose interpreted, interactive, object-oriented programming language with dynamic semantics” (Wikipedia). Python is best known for being easy to learn and program in. There are many different options when choosing a programming language depending on what you want your program to do.

III: Conclusion

Although there are many programming languages out there, some are better suited for different jobs than others. When choosing a programming language make sure you understand what you need the program to do before starting the coding process. Once you know what you are trying to accomplish then you can find the right language that can get you there.
